Truro City Carnival is a celebration of everything Truro. Our fabulous city has a rich cultural heritage, fantastic music and dance groups, a thriving commercial sector and hundreds of voluntary and charitable organisations that do tireless work in the community.
On Carnival day the streets of Truro will come alive with the sights and sounds of a wonderful street festival to celebrate all the people, businesses and organisations that make our city such a great place to live and visit. Thousands of people will attend and follow the carnival from its starting point at Hendra Park to Lemon Quay in the centre of the city.
If you would like to join the carnival, either in a float, a vintage vehicle or as a walking group, please click here for an application form. It is also important that you read the health and safety information carefully before submitting an application.
Prizes are available for the best floats, walking groups and vintage vehicles. The exact judging categories can be found on the website.
